President Lion Eng. Jayavilal Meegoda of Lions Club of Polgasowita and International Fair Director conducted an awareness and motivational presentation on national and international invention and research competitions. The session was attended by around 300 students and teachers. The presentation focused on the importance of innovation, research, creativity, and problem solving for school students. He explained the pathways available for Sri Lankan young inventors to participate in global competitions through the national selection process. A highly interactive Question and Answer session was held, and the participation and enthusiasm of the students and teachers were very satisfactory. The session also included detailed explanations of the national and international competitions affiliated with the programme. The national competition is the Sri Lanka Science and Engineering Fair. |

Donated 3000 vegetables plants to Damma school children and teachers and parents of G/Yatalamatta Sri Buddha Jayanthi Damma School on 29.03.2026.project chairperson lion HD Pathinayake. This project was implemented under concept of food safety country and Self sufficient family. In other ways develop Home garden each and every family of the country. Benifceries-3000 plants ×4=12000 this project was done parallel to other activities of the Damma school. Lion HD Pathinayake and Lion Kasun Pathinayake participated on behalf of the club. |
