As part of Lions Clubs International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, Lion Kokila Jayathilaka of the Arawwala Lions Club organized a musical evening for 50 children at the Indira Cancer Trust Foundation in Maharagama.
The programme was organized with the aim of improving the mental and emotional well-being of the children. It provided them with a joyful and relaxing experience. Lion Kokila Jayathilaka joined the children in singing songs and created a warm and happy atmosphere for them.
Lion Sarangi Maheshika, a member of the Arawwala Lions Club and Leo Club Advisor of the Arawwala Leo Club, and Yusali Jayathilaka, daughter of Lion Kokila Jayathilaka, also participated in the programme.
This meaningful initiative was conducted as part of Lions Clubs International’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month – September, with the aim of bringing happiness and emotional support to children affected by cancer.
