By lions Club of POLGASOWITA on 2025-12-13
Project Chairman : Jayavilal Meegoda

I had the privilege of participating in the Annual Concert of Little Bee Montessori, Piliyandala, as the Chief Guest. On the request of the Principal, I addressed parents on the timely and important topic:“How to Raise a Disciplined, Skillful, and Intellectual Citizen.”During the address, emphasis was placed on the critical role of parents in shaping a child’s character, discipline, values, and intellectual growth from an early age. Drawing from my own personal success story and life experiences, I shared practical insights on nurturing positive habits, encouraging curiosity and skills development, with love, and guiding children to become responsible and confident individuals. In keeping with the core values of Lionism — service, compassion, leadership, and commitment to youth development, 30 English books were donated to the Montessori following the address. This gesture aimed to encourage reading habits, enhance language skills, and support early childhood education.
