Conducting a programme on Environment Project by the Aravilla Lions Club( the school study 1500 student so all the student are Beneficiaries) Under the theme “A “Clean Sri Lanka” Dengue Prevention Campaign” , the Arawwala Lions Club, led by Club President Lion Prasadith Padmakumara (LCIF District Coordinator – Akurata Saviyak) and Project Co-Chairperson Lion Chandrika Wijesuriya, successfully implemented a comprehensive community service project in the Balangoda–Weligepola @ THE WALAGAMBA SCHOOLE This project benefited over 1500 schoolchildren , as well as children with special needs.

Under the theme “Akurata Saviyak” The President of the Lions Club of Arawwala, Lion Prasadith Padmakumara (LCIF District Coordinator – Akurata Saviyak Project), together with Lion Chandrika Wijesooriya as Co-Project Chairperson, organized a special awareness program in the Balangoda – Waligepola area for students from six schools in the region. The program focused on Ven. Piyarathana Thero also delivered an inspiring speech on the Value of Education and Knowledge for students from six schools in the region.
