n line with the guidance provided by the District Governor of Lions Club District 306 D2, a tree-planting initiative was carried out on July 1, 2025, at Bodhiraja Temple, Verahera. During this program, a total of 13 trees were planted, comprising: Mee (Madhuca longifolia) – 6 plants Kubuk (Terminalia arjuna) – 7 plants This activity was conducted to support environmental conservation efforts and enhance the green cover of the temple premises.

Mock Examination and Seminar for grade five students was held on 22nd of August 2025 at Pathahawatta Sri Swarnajothi Maha Vidyalaya, Bandaragama. There were about 120 students participated the program. Lions District D2, 2nd VDG Lion Palitha Wije Gunawardhana MJF participated as the chief guest of the event. Region 5 Region Chairperson Lion Gamini Walgampaya, Region 5 Zone 2 Zone Chairperson Lion Pradeep Amarathunga, Club President Lion Wasantha Jayawardane, Secretary Lion Monica Tilakarathna MJF, Cabinet officer Lion Nishantha Kariyapperuma MJF, Lion Indrakumara Jayawardane, Lion U. Mental awareness project for elders

We did a mental awareness program for 40 elders at Sahana Udaya Elders Home in Boralesgamuwa.Mr.Lalith Kumara conducted a very successful , meaningful project singing and discussion of old sinhala songs which they enjoyed so much.we provided tea for them too.veru successful , meaningful project

We did a mental awareness program for 50 school teachers and 150 students of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya Kotte .Famous Author , song writer gave a very mmeaningful talk, and discussed about litreature and its value with singing his own songs.very very successful project
