This programme addressed a critical gap in access to eye-care services and awareness in the area. The session was conducted by Lion Jayantha Abeygunarathna, a highly respected expert in the field and proprietor of George Gunarathna Optometrists, who brings over 60 years of professional experience in eye care. He provided invaluable advice, practical guidance, and expert insights on eye health, early detection of vision problems, and the importance of regular eye testing, empowering participants to take timely action to protect their vision.
