An ICT Workshop was conducted at Dharmaraja Vidyalaya, Piliyandala in collaboration of the LEO Club and Lions of Polgasowita. The session focused on introducing students to the theory and fundamental concepts of Information and Communication Technology, helping them strengthen their basic knowledge and practical understanding of the subject. Participants were guided through key ICT areas including computer fundamentals, software applications, internet technologies, cybersecurity awareness, and the role of ICT in modern education and industry. The workshop also highlighted future education and career opportunities in ICT.

Guidance Session on Participating in International Engineering Competitions A knowledge-sharing session was conducted at Dharmaraja Vidyalaya, Piliyandala with the participation of LEO members, to guide students on how to take part in globally recognized Engineering and Innovation competitions. The presentation was delivered by Lion Eng. Jayavilal Meegoda, International Fair Director with extensive experience in mentoring young inventors. During the session, students were introduced to major international platforms such as: ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair), TISF (Taiwan International Science Fair), SciFest( Ireland) and IRIS (Initiative for Research & Innovation in STEM). The importance of early exposure to research, innovation culture, and project-based learning was highlighted. Detailed guidance was given on competition requirements, documentation, ethics protocols, and how to convert school-level ideas into globally competitive engineering projects.

A concept of the DG, the One Child One Bag program was implemented by our Lions Club at Sri Jayewardenepura Maha Vidyalaya. We worked to provide one hundred and fifteen school bags to school in the Trincomalee District. The District Project Chairman, LION Sarath Dharmasiri, provided us with 110 School bags.

First Aid Training by Red Cross under the Mega Multi Joint Project - Sooriyawewa

A multi mega joint project to cover all global causes with Lions Club of Akuressa of D8 and Lions Club of Horana Metro - D2 on First aid training and Disaster management for the participants who were registered on this training. Special training on First aid response and emergency handling were discussed and training given to strengthen community alert and readiness.
