DONATION TO A DIABETIC PATIENT

One Nimal Edirisinghe, a diabetic & kidney patient has requested financial assistance from us long year ago and Lion Indika Rajapakshe of our club gave his consent to donate funds monthly to his account. Since then, Rs.5000/- is being made to his account direct. This transaction is for November 2025.

SCHOLORSHIP TO STUDENT - SUGITHMA JAYATHILAKA

P. Sugiethma Jayathilaka whose father lost few years ago, is a student of Horana Taxila College, Western Province. She qualified for the AL last year and requested financial assistance for her studies . We communicated with Mr Ruchira Bandara and he agreed to give his hands to that student and since December 2024 he injected funds to Sugithma's mothers account through our project account. This is for November 2025.

B Rasindi Anuththara Mendis is studying at WP/HO/Gungamuwa Primary School coming from a poor family. Her father has no permanent job and doing daily paid work from place to place. Mother also has no job. They requested us some financial assistance to support their daughter's education. Accordingly, we arranged a scholarship to pay tution fees etc. for this student from our club account. Principal of the school also recommended this donation. This is for November 2025.

R M Methmi Upeksha, who is an A/L Student aged 18+ has requested us for a financial assistance for her studies. Mr Ruchira Bandara gave his consent to assist Methmi until she finishes her A/L studies. From then, a standing order was processed and LKR 4000/- has been credited through our Project Account. This is for November 2025.

Pediatric cancer children in Indira Trust

we shared a beautiful time with 32 brave little children at Indira Trust through a greeting card handwork session and music therapy. We also donated fruits and yoghurts for their nutrition. The children were so happy, singing songs with us and enjoying every moment.

Donated Rs 5000.00 to needy child of WAM Sahithma Sinnadi Bandara of Kannimahara Wathurugama Gampaha for the month of December 2025. This scholarship payment is being done each month through the K.Jayathilaka Foundation. Project chairperson lion Dr Vajira Perera. ඉංගිරිය ගාමිණී විද්‍යාලය මගින් සිදුකරන පාසලේ අද්‍යාඔඅනය ලබන සිසුන්ගේ පවුල් අවතැන් වූවන් උදෙසා සිදුකරන වැඩසටහන සදහා රින්සෝ කිලෝ 150 ක් ලබාදුනි. එක සිසුවෙක් වෙනුවෙන් 500 g ලෙස බෙදා දීමට කටයුතු කලේය. එය නියෝජ්‍ය විදුහල්පතිනිය වෙත ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කලේය. පාසල් නිවාඩුව හේතුවෙන් ස්තූති කල ලියුම ලබාගැනීමට නොහැකි වුව අතර එය පාසල් නිවාඩුවෙන් පසුව ලබාගත හැක. කලාපීය සභාපතිතුමන් දැනුවතව මෙය බෙදා දුනු. මෙය අපට ලබාදීමට කලාපයේ සභාපතිවරයා මැදිහත් වී කටයුතු කලේට. අද දින තවත් වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්වුන හෙයින් සිංහ සමාජ කොඩිය නොදැමිනි. ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාපතිවරයා දැනුවත් වේ. සහන යාත්‍රා වැඩසටහන් මාලව යටතේ ඉංගිරිය හල්වතුර ප්‍රදේශයේ ගංවතුර නිසා අවතැන් වී පානීයපල පහසුකම් නොමැතිව දිවා ආහාරය ගැනීමට නොහැකිව අසරණ වූ එම ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් දෙවනි දිනයටත් , 306 D2 සිංහාධිපතිතුමන්ගේ උපදෙස් පරිදි හොරණ මිඩ්සිටි සිංහ සමාජය හා හොරණ සිංහ සමාජය එක්ව අද දින 450 කට අදික ප්‍රමාණයක් වෙනුවෙන් දහවල් ආහාරය හා පානීය ජල බෝතල් ඖෂධ , සනීපාරක්ෂක ද්‍රව්‍ය , බිස්කට් , රාත්‍රි ආහාර හා වියළි ආහාර ද්‍රව්‍ය ලබාදීමට හැකිවිය. මේ සදහා ප්‍රාදේශීය අංක 6 ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාපති සිංහ නිලන්ත පීරිස් හා මහවිල අළුබෝවිල සිංහ සමාජය මගින් අපට අනගි සහයෝගයක් ලබාදුන් අතර අවතැන් වූවන් සදහා අවශ්‍ය ද්‍රව්‍ය තොහද ලබාදුනි. ඉංගිරිය ගාමිණී විද්‍යාලයේ විදුහල්පතිතුමන් අනුර අජිත් කුලතුංග මහතා හා 306 D2 ප්‍රාදේශීය අංක 7 ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාපතිතුමන් වන දයාපාල පතිරගේ සහභාගි විය.

The blood donation program organized by Region 07 Chairperson Lion Dayapala Pathirage was held at the Vidyasekara Pirivena Temple in Ballapitiya. For this, our Lions Club donated Rs. 10,000 and organized people to donate blood.

We did a card making project at Indira trust in Maharagama for 32 resident chldren and their mothers.They wete very ceative and very happy too to make their own greeting card and I was so happy too to make them happy.Its so distressing to see such young children suffering from cancer
