"Build a Cleaner, Greener Tomorrow" ???? Date: 01st July 2025 ???? Location: Karadiyana Waste Management Yard This initiative focused on restoring the environment in waste-affected zones, contributing to a healthier and greener future. Our dedicated Leos took the lead in planting trees at the Karadiyana Waste Management Yard, transforming a waste-impacted site into a space of growth and hope. Attending the Bodhi Puja – 1st July 2025 The Bodhi Puja ceremony was held at Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya, Boralesgamuwa, under the patronage of District Governor Lion Priyantha Perera, together with First Lady Lion Dushanthi and District Secretary Lion Dulmika. The event was graced by District Cabinet Officers, Coordinators, and Arawwala Club President Lion Padmakumara. Also in attendance were Lion Namal, Lion Gaman Kithsiri, Lion Nandaka, and their families, who together contributed to the success and spiritual significance of the occasion.

Monthly scholarship payment to local students under Ananda Wijayasiri Memorial scholarship project Was made on 30.08.2025. Beneficiaries-40 Each Child is paid Rs 3000.00 per month. Project chairperson lion Lalith Wijayasiri. Re-submit with Following Comments =================== This also a club Signature project. This is Local scholarship program 2 conducted by the club. Under this project selected 40 students of the Area are being paid Rs 3000.00 per month. This whole project sponsored by our Lion Lalith Wijayasiri This project implemented separately. This project Started previous lions year. At the movement sponsored lion has Agreed to continue this project two years period. As a supporting document we have attached the Beneficiaries list as well . This payment also doing monthly Basis. Funds are being transferred to the project fund account of the club by standing order monthly.

This is our signature project doing more than 20 years. 27 Foster children are being paid monthly according to the advice given by the Finland lions. This project is handled by our lion PDG Nimal aluthge.
