Awareness session on Child abuse prevention/ woman empowerment organised by LC Polgasowita at Darmasena Artigala Balika Vidyalaya on 22nd August 2025. Resource personnel, Police Inspector Manoj Samarasekara, Counsellor delivered the lecture and engaged in a Q&A session. Around 300 students and 20 teachers actively participated. Governor Lion Priyantha Perera and the first lady participated as Chief Guests.

Untouched Territory: Next Level IT and Game Development

Organised a youth camp to exchange ideas on next-level IT and Game development at Darmasena Balika Vidyalaya on 21st August 2025. Resource personnel from the School of Computing, University of Colombo, the leading IT institution in Sri Lanka. Two senior lecturers and 10 students participated in the camp. Around 300 students and 15 teachers participated.

Youth Empowerment - Awareness on International Science and Engineering competitions and invention workshop

Awareness program on national competitions conducted by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka, National Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Federation of IT industries and International competitions, International Science and Engineering Fair, USA, Taiwan International Fair, IRIS India and RISE. An invention workshop was held, and formulated solutions for their problems and guided them on the invention process. Members from LEO Polgasowita participated.

Annual activity in collaboration with community organisations and Daham Pasala in the area. A full-day seminar was held for the students who sit for the scholarship exam, a very popular and competitive examination. Competant teachers were invited to lecture. Morning tea, Lunch and evening together with the required stationary provided to the 250 students. 100 parents were also provided lunch and tea.

A joint Project to clean the entire bus stopping area for the benefit of people who travel by bus for their day to day routine work and other needs. The area was with waste paper, bear cans, wast water bottles, plastic bottles, glass bottles used for fruit juices etc. it was much interesting to note the support given by the non lions working in that area.

We conducted an eye examination program for five girls and a maid at the Nawala Shepard Children's Home, and were fully sponsored by the Nethroo Eye Care Optical Center Boralesgamuwa.After the eye examination, they found that all five girls' eyesight was severely impaired. Accordingly, they advised us to refer all of them for medical advice.we just spent taxi expenses
