A sum of Rs. 7,500 was allocated for an eye-screening programme for children under 9 years of age at Kumbuka Primary School. The programme aimed to identify children with vision problems at an early stage and provide appropriate support. Following the eye screening, more than 15 children were identified as requiring spectacles and were selected to receive them. This initiative helped improve access to essential eye care and supported the children's vision, learning, and overall well-being.
