Description

Following the awareness programme, the Lions Club of Piliyandala carried out a Dengue Prevention and Environmental Cleanliness Project in and around Piliyandala Town and the Kolamunna area. The project was implemented in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Police, the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Office, and local residents. Participants worked together to identify and eliminate mosquito breeding sites and clean public areas to help reduce the spread of dengue. The Lions Club of Piliyandala provided lunch for all participants in appreciation of their valuable contribution to the success of the project.
