Description

The Lions Club of Piliyandala, in collaboration with the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Office, Piliyandala, conducted a Dengue Prevention Awareness Programme at the MOH Office. The awareness session was conducted by Dr. Mrs. Chandima Peththawadu, who explained the current dengue situation in Sri Lanka, the health risks associated with dengue, and practical measures for eliminating mosquito breeding sites. Personnel from the Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Police, the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, local residents, and Lions members participated in the programme. The Lions Club of Piliyandala provided breakfast for all participants.
