A valuable volleyball coaching session was conducted for the students of Siripathi Vidyalaya by the Captain and Vice Captain of the University of Moratuwa Volleyball Team, bringing expert knowledge and practical skills directly to the school level. This initiative was successfully facilitated by the Leo Club of Polgasowita, highlighting the strong collaboration between Lions and Leos in youth development.
The session focused on fundamental techniques, teamwork, game strategy, and discipline, providing students with hands-on training and inspiration from experienced university-level players. Their guidance greatly motivated the students and elevated their interest and confidence in the sport.
Adding excitement to the programme, a friendly volleyball match was organized between senior and junior teams, creating a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie. The match showcased the skills learned during the coaching session.
