Continuing the lecture series on emerging technologies for young inventors, Janitha Dissanayake, Lecturer from the School of Computing, University of Colombo, conducted the second session focusing on Arduino design and programming.
As many students are already utilizing Arduino platforms for their inventions, the session was highly engaging and interactive. The lecture covered essential concepts in Arduino programming, circuit design, and practical applications, enabling students to strengthen their technical foundation and improve the functionality of their innovation projects.
The session emphasized the importance of hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creativity in electronics and embedded systems—key competencies for young inventors in today’s technology-driven world. Students actively participated in discussions and gained valuable insights into real-world applications of Arduino-based solutions.
