On the invitation of the Director of Technology, Ministry of Education, Lion Eng. Jayavilal Meegoda participated as a resource person at a training workshop conducted for teachers, focusing on nurturing student innovation and developing future inventors.

Drawing from over 25 years of experience working with student inventors and educators, the session emphasized practical approaches to identifying and nurturing talent within schools.

It was highlighted that students with strong analytical thinking, documentation, and presentation skills can collaborate effectively with those who possess practical, hands-on craftsmanship. Such balanced teams can significantly enhance the quality and success of invention projects.
