A valuable and engaging session on “Game Development as a Hobby and Career” was organized for young inventors, highlighting emerging opportunities in the digital and creative technology space. The session was conducted by Tharindu Deepaloka, an undergraduate of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) and Founder of the Levelstair community. Drawing from his personal journey and experience, he provided practical insights into how game development can evolve from a hobby into a rewarding career. Students found the session highly interesting and inspiring, with an active and enthusiastic Q&A session that reflected their curiosity and eagerness to explore new technologies. This program contributed significantly to youth empowerment by introducing modern technological avenues, encouraging innovation, and aligning with Lions Clubs International’s focus on education, leadership, and future-ready skills development.
