The Arduino and Programming Society of Mahinda Rajapaksha College, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Polgasowita, organized a series of lectures aimed at empowering young inventors in preparation for the upcoming Invention and Robotics Competition organized by the Ministry of Education.
Upon the request of the society, Lion Eng. Jayavilal Meegoda conducted an insightful lecture on “National and International Invention Competitions: A Road Map for Success.” The session provided students with a clear understanding of the pathways available in innovation, including guidance on idea development, project preparation, documentation, and presentation at both national and international levels.
The program was attended by the Deputy Principal, Master-in-Charge, teachers, parents, and enthusiastic members of the society. A highly engaging Q&A session followed the lecture, reflecting the strong interest and curiosity of the students in the field of innovation and technology.
