The ability to effectively communicate ideas is a critical skill for young inventors, as they are required to present their innovations to mentors, judges, and the general public—including potential entrepreneurs and investors who may support and fund their projects. Recognizing this need, a session titled “Power Up Your Presentations” was organized on 18th March 2026.
The session was conducted by Dr. Tharindu Wijethilaka, Lecturer at the School of Computing, University of Colombo. It provided valuable insights into structuring presentations, confidently delivering ideas, and engaging diverse audiences. A highly interactive Q&A session followed, where students actively participated and clarified their doubts, demonstrating strong enthusiasm to enhance their presentation skills.
For inventors, a good idea alone is not sufficient—success often depends on how clearly and persuasively that idea is communicated.
