As part of its continued commitment to youth development and sports promotion, the Lions Club of Piliyandala successfully carried out a project focused on the development of school cricket at Sri John Kotelawala Vidyalaya, Piliyandala.
Under this initiative, cricket MAT was donated to the school with the objective of encouraging students to actively engage in cricket, enhance their sporting skills, and promote discipline, teamwork, and leadership among young players. This contribution is expected to support the school’s cricket program and provide students with the necessary resources to practice and compete effectively.
The project was ably chaired by Lion Lasantha Wickramasinghe, whose leadership and dedication played a key role in the successful implementation of this initiative.
