Description

Based on findings reported by the United Nations Environment Programmed (UNEP), it is estimated that four people benefit for every tree that is planted and properly maintained, underscoring the significant social and environmental impact of sustained tree‑planting initiatives. In alignment with this global perspective, we successfully launched a Tree Planting Project at Sri John Kotelawala Maha Vidyalaya, through which 3,850 plants were donated to school children to be planted in their home premises, promoting environmental stewardship at the community level.
