Lions Club of Kesbewa carried out a disaster relief project on 2nd December 2025 by distributing more than 200 cooked meal parcels to people in the Kosgama area who were affected by the Ditwah natural disaster in Sri Lanka in late 2025.
The disaster caused significant hardship to families in the area, disrupting their daily lives and access to essential needs. In response, the Lions Club of Kesbewa organized the preparation and distribution of cooked meals to provide immediate relief and support to the affected community.
This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to humanitarian service and its continued efforts to assist communities in times of crisis.
