Lions Club of Kesbewa carried out a disaster relief project on 30th November 2025 by distributing more than 1,000 cooked meal parcels to people in the Kolonnawa and Gothatuwa areas who were affected by the Ditwah natural disaster in Sri Lanka in late 2025.
Many families in these areas were severely affected by the disaster and faced difficulties in accessing food and basic necessities. In response to this situation, the Lions Club of Kesbewa organized the preparation and distribution of cooked food parcels to support affected families and individuals during this difficult period.
This project was conducted as part of the club’s humanitarian and disaster relief efforts to provide immediate relief and support to communities affected by natural disasters.
