Lions Club of Kesbewa organized an eye screening camp and free spectacles donation programme on 29th November 2025 at the YMBA Maharagama. Beneficiaries for this project were identified and gathered through the Grama Niladhari officers, including patients visiting the Maharagama Cancer Hospital, elderly individuals, and low-income residents from the surrounding area. Following the eye examinations, free spectacles were donated to selected beneficiaries in need of vision correction. Through this project, the Lions Club of Kesbewa contributed towards improving vision and quality of life for the community. Over 93 beneficiaries received services through this programme. This project was conducted as part of the club’s community health and humanitarian service initiatives.
