The Lions Club of Ballanthudawa Royal Ladies conducted the project “Encourage Innovative Little Minds” on 6th January 2026 at Gungamuwa Primary School, Bandaragama, under the Global Cause of Youth. This vibrant and child-centered initiative aimed at motivating young students through creative and educational engagement. A total of 19 Lion members, including 9 members from the host club, actively participated in the program. The event was honored by the presence of District Governor Lion Priyantha Perera and District First Lady Lion Dushanthi Gomez as Chief Guests. Region Chairperson Lion Nilantha Peries, Region 7 Chairperson Lion Dayapala Pathirage, and Zone Chairperson Lion J. P. Manathunga also attended to grace the occasion. The children were entertained with interactive lectures, dances, songs, and were gifted to encourage enthusiasm and creativity.
