Description

The Lions International Peace Poster Competition was successfully conducted at Dharmaraja Vidyalaya, Piliyandala under the guidance of the Lions Club of Polgasowita. The program aimed to inspire creativity among students while encouraging them to express the global theme of peace through art. A large number of students from age 11 to 13 participated with great enthusiasm. Prior to the drawing session, students were briefed on the objectives of the Peace Poster program, its history, and the importance of promoting harmony and understanding among communities. Teachers and art instructors supported the students throughout the event. The submitted posters demonstrated impressive creativity, originality, and strong messages of unity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence. A panel of judges evaluated the artworks based on theme interpretation, artistic merit, and overall expression. The best entries were selected to represent the school at the district-level judging.
