Every Mind Matters – Sports for Transformational Development
Using the power of sports to heal young minds in Northern Sri Lanka.
Through the Every Mind Matters project, World Vision is raising funds to promote sports among children and youth in Sri Lanka’s war-affected Northern region, aiming to address the growing mental health challenges they face.
As part of this fundraising effort, the New Zealand Rugby Team, during their recent visit to Sri Lanka, donated rugby gear and apparel used during their matches to be sold as memorabilia. The proceeds go directly to the project fund.
As per a request from World Vision - Today, I proudly contributed Rs. 23,000/- to this meaningful cause by purchasing several of these memorabilia items.
