Under the theme “Akurata Saviyak”, the Arawwala Lions Club, led by Club President Lion Prasadith Padmakumara (LCIF District Coordinator) and Project Co-chairperson Lion Chandraka Wijesooriya, organized an inspirational and motivational session for 300 students from six schools in the Balangoda Waligepola area, focusing on children from low-income and underprivileged families, as well as children with special needs.
A musical therapy session aimed at relieving stress among the children was conducted by Lion Kokila from the Arawwala Lions Club, whose inspiring songs were greatly appreciated by all the students and parents present.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was District Governor of Lions District 306 D2, Lion Priyantha Perera PMJF, MAF, accompanied by the First Lady Lion Dushanthie Gomes MAF.
Members and Leos of the Arawwala Lions Club also participated in this meaningful event.
