Project Description:
Due to the severe drought conditions affecting the Yala National Park — located across the Southern and Uva Provinces of Sri Lanka — the Lions Club organized and successfully carried out a humanitarian and environmental service project to provide much-needed drinking water to the park’s wild animals.

Impact:
This timely initiative provided essential hydration to elephants, deer, leopards, and many other species suffering from the drought. The Lions Club’s contribution not only helped protect the lives of these wild animals but also supported the broader conservation of Sri Lanka’s natural ecosystems.
