Global Cause: Hunger Relief Project at Victoria Home for Incurables
Under the Global Cause – Hunger, the Lions Club of Polgasowita organized a meal donation project at the Victoria Home for Incurables, providing nourishment and care to the residents in need.
The project aimed to bring comfort and compassion to differently-abled and chronically ill individuals residing at the home. Members of the club actively participated in serving meals, interacting warmly with the residents, and sharing moments of kindness and fellowship.
This meaningful initiative was sponsored by Lion Wasantha Ramanayaka, whose generosity and commitment made the project a success. The gesture reflected the true spirit of Lionism — serving the less fortunate with dignity and empathy.
