Lion Eng. Jayavilal Meegoda – Senior Engineer and Mentor for Science and Engineering Competitions Mr. Chirath Senanayaka – NSBM Undergraduate in Engineering and Winner at International Competitions An educational program on Invention and Innovation Competitions in Engineering and Technology was conducted to create awareness among youth about the importance of creativity, problem-solving, and applied engineering skills in addressing real-world challenges. The session highlighted the value of national and international science and engineering competitions, including platforms such as: Sri Lanka Science and Engineering Fair (SLSEF) – a gateway for young innovators to qualify for global recognition. Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF, USA) – the world’s largest pre-college science competition.
