Final Invention and Robotics Competition
Lion Eng. Jayavilal Meegoda volunteered as the Chief Judge for the Final Invention and Robotics Competition organized by the Ministry of Education. The event was ceremonially declared open by the Prime Minister, in her capacity as the Minister of Education. A dedicated team of judges, comprising senior engineers and university academics, volunteered their expertise to evaluate the projects. Young inventors from across the country showcased their innovations, reflecting Sri Lanka’s growing interest in science and technology. A special award was presented to a lady inventor to encourage and promote the participation of girls in STEM education.
