The Lions Club of Kesbewa proudly organized the Elders’ Felicitation Ceremony, a District Project held on Saturday, 4th October 2025, at the Fingara Institute. The event commenced at 8:30 a.m., under the esteemed presence of District Governor Lion Priyantha Perera as the Chief Guest, with Lion Sisira Kumara Gamagae serving as the Project Chairperson.
This heartwarming initiative brought together over 300 elder mothers and fathers to celebrate and honor their lives, contributions, and wisdom. Through this project, the Lions aimed to express gratitude, respect, and love for the senior members of the community, fostering joy, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
