On 11th October 2025, under the leadership of Lion Amal Ravinath, President of the Lions Club of Kesbewa, and with the support of Lion Kingsly Perera, the club organized the distribution of meals to children attending the Special Children’s Day Programme hosted by the People’s Bank, Maharagama.
This initiative aimed to bring joy and nourishment to the children, ensuring they could fully enjoy the celebrations. By providing meals, the Lions Club demonstrated its commitment to community service, care for young ones, and spreading happiness. The project reflected the spirit of Lionism — serving with compassion, supporting the community, and sharing smiles with those who need it most.
It was a day filled with laughter, happiness, and togetherness, highlighting the importance of nurturing and celebrating children as the future of the community.
