The Lions Club of Kesbewa proudly organized an Ayurvedic Herbal Drink Stall at the Lions District Service Carnival 2025, held on the 20th of October 2025 at Moragahahena Maha Vidyalaya.
As part of this meaningful initiative, a traditional “Koththamalli” (Coriander-based herbal drink) was freshly prepared and distributed free of charge to Lions and attendees, accompanied by biscuits and jaggery. The project aimed to promote health, vitality, and Sri Lanka’s indigenous wellness traditions, offering participants a natural and refreshing way to rejuvenate amidst the day’s activities.
This initiative beautifully blended service with culture, showcasing the Lions Club’s commitment not only to community welfare but also to preserving local heritage and encouraging healthy living. The warm smiles shared over each cup of Koththamalli symbolized unity, care, and the Lions’ enduring dedication to serving with heart and purpose.
