Under the continuous commitment to serve the
community, the Lions Club of Millaniya Golden
Jubilee organized a special service project to
distribute sugar-free dry food packs among diabetic
patients from low-income families.
• This initiative aimed to support the health and
nutritional needs of diabetic individuals who
struggle to afford suitable dietary items due to
financial constraints.
To provide essential food items
suitable for diabetic patients.To
promote health awareness and
encourage healthy eating
habits among patients. To
extend humanitarian
assistance to low-income
families in need of medical and
nutritional care.
The project was successfully carried out
with the participation of club members
and community volunteers. Each
beneficiary received a specially
prepared sugar-free dry food pack,
ensuring suitability for diabetic dietary
requirements.
The distribution event was graced by
First Lady of Lions District 306 D2, Lion
Dushanthi Gomaz,
