Under the Lions District 306 D-2 service theme “Mental Health and Well-being”, the Lions Club of Millaniya Golden Jubilee, together with the Leo Club, successfully organised a pilgrimage tour on 11th October 2025.
A total of 50 participants, including elders from low-income families and Buddhist female monks, joined this spiritual journey. The group visited the following sacred sites:
Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya
Pillewa Temple
Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya
Throughout the tour, participants engaged in religious activities such as Buddha pooja, meditation, and dhamma discussions, creating an atmosphere of inner peace and happiness.
