Under the project theme “Akurata Saviyak” initiated by the newly appointed District Governor of 306 D2, Lion Priyantha Perera, a successful donation campaign was launched to support 200 schoolchildren with school bags.
The event was graced by Chief Guest District Governor Lion Priyantha Perera and First Lion Lady Dushanthi Gomas, along with the presence of Past District Governors Lion Asanga Samaraekara and Lion Ajith Liyanage. Also in attendance were Regional Cabinet Chairperson Lion Gamini Walganpaya, Zone Cabinet Chairperson Lion Pradeep Amarathunga, and Main Cabinet Officers Lion Melroy Jayasinghe, Lion Devduni Shyamen, and Lion Sajeewa Prasanna. The event also acknowledged the contributions of Immediate Past President Lion Sarath Dharmasiri, whose continued support has been instrumental in the club’s community service efforts.
