Lions Club of Arawwala – Hunger Project Program
The Lions Club of Arawwala, under the leadership of Club President and Project Chairperson Lion Prasadith Padmakumara (LCIF District Coordinator – “Akurata Saviya” Project) and Co-Project Chairperson Lion Chandrika Wijesooriya, successfully conducted this noble initiative in the Balangoda – Waligepola area, benefiting over 300 underprivileged and special needs children.
As part of the program, a lunch meal consisting of sweet potatoes and coconut sambol served in kadakola leaves was provided for more than 350 students, 300 parents, and school staff and organizing committee members, bringing the total number of participants to around 750.
Conducted under the Hunger Relief theme, this event was a remarkable success, reflecting the true spirit of service and compassion.
