Under the Multiple project we the lions club of Horana contributed to the Region project organized by Region chairperson lion Dayapala Pathirage. 23 volunteers (lions and non Lions) participated to the project with the Coordination of lions club of Horana. Parevithota is known as local tourist visiting place.Hundreds of people's visiting this place daily. Plastic and garbage collected from the Area and cleaned up the Area. Guid line of Measuring service Impact for lions We consider 3000 people served under this Activity. Re-submit with Following comments. ----------------------------- Hundreds of people visiting Parevithota daily basis. We assumed Daily 100-150 people visiting this place Accordingly per day 100× 30 days =3000 We only calculated 30 minimum days only. If we consider more than 30 days benifceries may be more than 3000. There for we think we have considered minimum. Is there any other method to calculate the benifceries please let us know.

Tree Planting programme

about 25 plants of Ayurveda such as Kohoba, sandalwood and permanent trees like, Mee Maara, jack fruit, and other fruits such as guava, rabutang, soever orange, nelli were planted with the assistance of the Agriculture unit teachers and students along with our Club members in the premises around the school. The ground preparations were already done by the students and after planting, fertilizer and watering was done. It is supposed to be maintained by the Agriculture unit of the school also as a main project of this unit.
